Christmas wish list 2020

Christmas wish list 2020

Christmas 2020Can you even handle that Christmas 2020 is just 10 weeks away? This year has flown by (I think largely due to the Covid19 pandemic & lockdown) and I can’t believe it’s time to share my Christmas wish list 2020 with you’all.

As you know we are emigrating early 2021, so my personal Christmas wish list needs to take this into account. However, my list this year includes items that moms, dad & kids would love whether they are emigrating or not. So grab a glass of bubbles, take a moment to appreciate the fast approaching festive season and be inspired by my list.

Christmas wish list 2020

Boys wish list

  1. Walkie-talkies: this is a great one for siblings!
  2. Switch & go dinosaur: we bought one for Tristan last year and he spends hours playing with it.
  3. Hungry hippos board game: doesn’t this bring back all the feels from your own childhood? Perfect for the kids, just be careful with small children and the balls from the game.
  4. Teepee: nothing like supporting local. My boys love their teepee and it makes a great gift encouraging hours of imaginative play.
  5. Dominoes: a great game for children learning numbers. A game a child can play alone or the whole family can get involved.

Christmas gift ideasGirls wishes

I know I don’t have girls, but if I did, this is what I would love to buy for them!

  1. Stationery: Typo always has such lovely stationery items. Perfect for stocking fillers.
  2. Baby Alive Doll: we all had dolly’s when we were small but now they seem to be more like real babies than ever before. A must have for all little girls!
  3. Sylvanian Families: this one brings back all the nostalgia for us moms. What a wonderful gift for a little girl! Hours of fun just waiting to be had.
  4. Colouring in books: put away the ipads, grab a pack of craysons and colour in. I still believe this is a great gift for girls & boys.
  5. Puzzles & board games: hungry hippos & puzzles are great for boys & girls. I also love pick up sticks for fine motor skill development.

Moms Christmas list

  1. Books: I have 3 amazing books that I think all women should read. The Gift of Imperfections by Brene Brown, Atomic Habits by James Clear & Untamed by Glennon Doyle.
  2. Sleep wear: hands up who’s tired of the same old store bought pajamas. I know I’d love to fall asleep in these beautiful, feminine pjs.
  3. Active wear: supporting local with a fabulous range of active wear. I absolutely adore my Kheper tights & sports bra. I wish I could have the entire range! They have a wide range to choose from, their customer service is next level, sizing is on point and they are launching new products all the time.
  4. Journals & notebooks: I love stationery and and love having a journal close by for any musings, lists or doodles when the mood takes me. Another local company!
  5. Vouchers: you can’t go wrong with a spa voucher.

Dads

  1. Slippers: as much as they protest they don’t need or want slippers, they secretly all do want a pair!
  2. An experience: skydiving, an advanced driving course. Definitely for the dads who have it all!
  3. Noise cancelling headset: Mr M has 2 sets, just in case the 1 stops working late at night! A great gift for when dad gets to have some downtime but leaving the house is not an option. Also a must have for any frequent traveller.
  4. Insulated coffee mug: sure many will be returning to offices in the new year and an insulated coffee mug will make that drive to work so much sweeter!
  5. Whisky: not many dads would be upset to receive a delicious bottle of whiskey. With so many to choose from, that might be your biggest decision!

So there you have it; my 2020 Christmas wish list. I hope it’s inspired you and not scared you (with the proximity to Christmas). Share any item on your wish list in the comments below.

Ho-ho-ho!

Much love xxx
