Not sure if I mentioned it last time but I plan Monday through Thursday meals and the weekends we try and be more spontaneous.

Monday: Roast chicken, Yorkshire puddings (store bought of course) and vegetables with a cheese sauce.
Tuesday: Spaghetti bolognaise with hidden veg of course. Tristan is back at karate this week so I need dinner to be made during the day so it’s ready to eat when we get home around 6pm. Don’t forget fresh pasta; cooks so much quicker (usually 3-6 minutes) than dried pasta.
Wednesday: Pesto pasta with bacon & broccoli. I steam the broccoli and chop it up finely and it disappears in with the pesto! I used to make my own pesto (homemade is always nicer than store bought) but I’m all about things being easier so have found my favourite store bought ones that we always use. Oh yes, and always fresh pasta!! 🙂
Thursday: M&S steak pie with veg
I did my weekly shop yesterday but had to use Waitrose instead of my usual Ocado as they didn’t have any delivery slots (how rude) for Monday.
