My body is taking strain

My body is taking strain. My back and abs are probably the weakest parts of my body. I’ve had 2 pregnancies & 2 caesarean sections in 3,5 years. I’m 40 in just 6 months time. I’m a geriatric mom. I need to get stronger, fitter. Not only for myself but to be able to keep up with my boys.

He ain’t heavy, he’s my son

Grayson currently weighs a little over 8kgs, he’s just over 4 months. Whether I’m rocking him to sleep in my arms or wearing him in 1 of my carriers, my body is taking strain. My arms, back & core. Tristan still wants to be carried on occasion. He’s around 16kgs. I’ve even carried them both at the same time! Help! I need to get stronger!

Rebounding

ReboundingNo, I’m not rebounding from a bad relationship, or maybe I am?! My bad relationship with exercise since I fell pregnant with Grayson needs to be overhauled and to do this I’ve enlisted the help of Lisa Raleigh and her rebounding exercise programme. Basically, it’s working out on a trampoline! The benefits of rebounding include tightening core muscles, anti-inflammatory, confidence boost (thanks endorphins), lower blood pressure, improved balance and so much more.

Time

Yes I’m a stay at home mom, but finding time to workout is impossible! Grayson sleeps every 1,5 hours, feeds every 4 hours and I’ve still got to get stuff done like grocery shopping, showering, appointments, etc. I rarely sit down and relax until 8pm once both kids are in bed & asleep. I need a workout that is fun, quick, effective and can be done at home while Grayson sleeps. At the moment he sleeps for 45 minutes! Time is precious so I don’t want to waste it driving to gym, finding parking, etc.

I’m so excited

I’m so excited because, with this workout solution I can just start whenever I have a few minutes. Do 5, 10 or 20 minutes and finish off when I next have a few minutes. As a busy mom I need to have the flexibility of exercising when time allows me. I also love that there is very low impact on my joints!
