Splish splash I was taking a bath with Himalaya baby shampoo!

As a mom who suffers from eczema I’m very aware of products I use on Tristan. I don’t want anything that will aggravate his skin (not that he is showing any signs of eczema) or mine when I bath him. From his body wash to his shampoo, body lotion to sunblock, I’m always on the look out for something natural and delivers on what it promises. A couple of months back I picked up some Himalaya baby shampoo and baby wash (they call it baby bath).

The label promised it was 100% natural, free of parabens, SLS/SLES and synthetic colours and wouldn’t hurt baby’s eyes. It sounded & looked good to me so thought I’d give it a try! The ‘no tears’ promise was something I was really keen on because Tristan loves washing his own hair, but hasn’t quite mastered the art and always gets shampoo all over his face! Stinging eyes and a screaming toddler is not what I want to contend with just before bedtime.
After using it just once I noticed that it didn’t burn my poor hands, Tristan was sparkly clean and he smelt delicious! And the ‘no tears’ promise was 100% on point! No, it’s not fragranced but the herbs they use have a lovely fresh, clean, child-like (is that weird) smell and I absolutely love it! Snuggles after bath time are my best!

Their baby range is quite extensive, not only do they do body wash, shampoo & body lotion, amongst other things they also have a colic mootie called Bonnisan as well as a soap bar, wet wipes and baby oil which would be amazing for those baby massages we give our little ones to calm them. Definitely a product I’ll have in my Baby Shark kit!

So in the spirit of the kind of mom I am I wanted to share my great find with you all and Himalaya have been incredibly generous! Not only have they sent me some amazing travel packs to give away, but they have also offered you all a 10% discount code that is valid for all personal care (including baby) online products purchased between now and 30th March 2019! How amazing? Once you’ve filled your cart use my code myjourneyasamom when you check out. Happy shopping and I hope you’ll share your thoughts and purchases with me in the comments below!

Much love xx
